I really like the idea of having the whole history of the projects with me all the time without having to connect to the repository.
I could create a local copy of my repository on my notebook but I cannot copy a repository of other repositories which I don't own.
And the git-svn bridge is very nice and allows you to copy Subversion repositories to local Git repositories with all the history.

There is a lot other stuff which is interesting like git bisect which allows you to find regressions in a more convenient way.
